How to share your screen without downloads
ScreenZero lets a presenter share a screen from a supported desktop browser. Viewers open a room link without installing software or creating a ScreenZero account. The presenter needs an account and must approve the browser’s screen-sharing prompt.
What “no download” means
You do not install a ScreenZero desktop application or browser extension. Your browser still needs permission to capture the screen. Camera and microphone access are separate permissions, used when you choose to speak or appear on video.
Guest joining and presenting are different capabilities. Use a supported desktop browser to present; do not assume that a phone which can view a room can also broadcast its screen.
Start a screen share
Create and verify your presenter account, sign in and create a room. Open the viewer link on a second device to check the experience before your first client call.
Send the viewer link to your client. Choose screen sharing in the room, then select a browser tab, application window or display in the browser prompt. Confirm the share and ask your client whether the content is visible.
Keep the room open while presenting. Stop sharing when you finish, and end the room when the conversation is over.
Choose the smallest useful view
A browser tab works well for a product demo or website review. A window suits a proposal or presentation in a desktop application. A whole display is useful when switching between applications, but can expose notifications and unrelated windows.
Close unrelated tabs and hide notifications before sharing. ScreenZero does not provide automatic redaction of sensitive information.
Know the limits before inviting clients
Free rooms allow up to 3 viewers; a paid plan supports a higher configured capacity. Check the current pricing and account limits before planning a session. Network quality, browser support and device performance affect the experience.
System audio depends on the browser and capture source. If audio matters, test the exact tab or application beforehand rather than assuming the microphone will capture it.
